Hello, and welcome to the part of my website devoted to my own writing. This page is dedicated to the inspirations for my work-in-progress, a novel tentatively titled The Cannibals.

The Cannibals deals largely with the theme of healing from historical trauma; and loosely deals with issues of Indigenous identity, history, and decolonization. I’ve been influenced by Indigenous folklore, spirituality, and my own occult practices.

In The Cannibals, the priest of a Native American boarding school initiates a pattern of abuse that forever alters the lives of the students and changes the fabric of time. Niko, an Anishinaabe academic, is tasked with ending the tear in the fabric of time and healing the boarding school survivors of the priest.
