One-on-one coaching 👩🏻💻

For those looking for accountability and help in finishing their manuscript and those looking to begin their manuscript. With this program, we meet once a month, and you send me pages to read. For those just beginning, we typically do a few writing exercises taken from Author Accelerator’s Blueprint and other various places. I will probably require you to do some sort of outline, my cat might make an appearance, and I am not above bringing astrology, shadow work, and tarot cards into the mix.
Get Published ✨
$300/month
For those ready to publish. Together we will create a synopsis, a query letter, and a list of agents and publishers for you to send your work to. In addition, I will read through your manuscript, and I may suggest some light edits to get your manuscript agent, editor, and publisher ready.
Developmental Edit
$1500+
This is for those who have done all they can and want another pair of eyes on their work before they send it out for publication. Developmental editing looks at the macro level of your manuscript, the larger themes, ideas, character arcs, and plot. If you are looking to be published, I will make sure your first five pages are perfect, as those are the most important.
Please note, this may take up to 3 months to complete. This will include a letter, in-line edits, and a chat with me. Ask me about a second read after you’ve rewritten your manuscript, or a cheaper price for short stories & novellas!
Mini-Blueprint
$199
The mini-blueprint is for those who want to start their novel, but don’t know how or where. This is a quick and cheap introduction to book coaching! Typically this only takes one to two months. More information on it here.

About Book Coaching and My Process:

The more I work with people, the more I see that writers are individuals with individual needs. Many people have full lives filled with careers, children, pets, etc. Some people carry trauma that inhibits their creativity. This doesn’t need to keep you from your writing dreams.
I work closely with individuals to find a schedule and assignments that help them reach their goals. We work collaboratively to find what works best for you.
I believe that writing a novel is akin to the alchemical process. Writing fiction is one way to make the “unconscious conscious” (to quote Jung). First and foremost, I believe that every writer, in order to create, needs to establish boundaries and a space so they can write. I also believe we need to tame the nasty voices in our heads that keep us from our genius.
✨I am an astrological magician, and we can talk about your birth chart to see which planets and transits are most helpful to you.
✨As I believe tarot cards are a representation of our unconscious, I also like to use them as a tool to figure out information about your characters.
✨I am knowledgeable about various shadow work techniques, which I employ when a writer is facing blocks to their creativity.
Individual Coaching:
For you if:
+ you know what you want to write about but it’s too overwhelming to get started, you need accountability to finish your novel, or you need help querying agents
+ Individual coaching for accountability involves at least one meeting a month and turning in pages. During our meeting we focus on your pages and the larger story, we also talk about tricks and tips to inspire your creativity (if that is needed), or whatever else you’d like to focus on about the writing life
+ if you need guidance in querying agents, then we work on your query letter, a synopsis, the first five pages of your manuscript, and researching agents; this includes at least one meeting a month.
+ price is dependent on how slow and how fast you want to work. What that means: if you need to work at a slower pace (turning in pages to me every other month, etc.) the price would be lower.
Developmental Edits
For you if:
+ part (or all) of your story feels complete but you want someone to look at the story arc, major themes, characters, and structure and make sure everything works
+ good for those who want someone to look at their manuscript before they send it out to agents
+ my goal is to get your work read and/or published, so my edits will focus on those aspects
+ this includes inline edits, a letter with suggested edits referring to the macro issues of the manuscript such as structure, arcs, character, etc. and a meeting with me
+ Developmental edit first 50 pages: $199 ✨ (this is a special intro price!)
+ Developmental edit entire manuscript: $1500+ (this is the starting price for a 50,000 word manuscript)
+ please note, a developmental edit on an entire manuscript may take up to 3 months to complete

Navigating the exciting journey of writing a book can be daunting, especially when you’re bursting with creative ideas but unsure of how to shape them into a captivating story. That’s where I come in, ready to guide you through the process with precision and purpose. Together we will go over a mix of assignments gleaned from Author Accelerator’s Blueprint for a Book, my own alchemical novel writing process, and various other methods. Through our collaborative efforts, you’ll emerge with a meticulously crafted outline, a compelling initial scene, and a truly enchanting beginning to your novel. You can use this process to finish your novel alone, or we can continue to work together until you finish your novel.
Stuck in the middle of your journey?
Have you started writing but suddenly lost faith? Or, are you just kind of stuck and not sure which direction to go? I’m here for accountability.
I can guide you to your goal, whether that is to finish your novel, to have an agent ready manuscript, or to just get unstuck.
How it works: you send me pages (of new writing or re-writes). We might also work on an outline together (preferably Author Accelerator’s Inside-Outline). I make comments on your pages (developmental edits). We schedule a meeting to discuss your pages, my suggested edits, or anything else about your writing journey.
Ready for publication?
. . . but confused about the publication industry? I can help! Together we will work on the materials needed for you to successfully query agents. I will do an in-depth review of your first 3 chapters, and a full manuscript review. Together we will gather a list of agents that will love your writing. This will likely take 2-3 months and will include at least 2 phone calls.
Book Coaching & Alchemy
Alchemists sought not only to transform physical substances but also to achieve spiritual enlightenment and self-discovery through the alchemical process, this is similar to writing a novel. The writer’s journey is an alchemical journey.
Alchemists were concerned with transforming base metals into gold, which symbolizes the turning of something ordinary into something extraordinary. The alchemical journey was not just about external transformations but also about inner enlightenment and self-discovery.
Writers often start with raw, unrefined ideas. Through the coaching process, these ideas are refined and transformed into a polished manuscript, akin to turning literary ‘lead’ into ‘gold.’
